The Folding Bike Race

 

The Race

The competitors, dressed in business attire will wait 30m away from their folded bikes, at the drop of the British Flag the competitors will have to run to their steeds building them as fast as they can and setting off on a 5 lap dash.

 

In true commuter spirit, winner takes all - there’s no second chance when it comes to catching your train… Expect fierce competition, barging and even a little cheating as our commuters race to prove their skills.

 

The eventual winner will be crowned the 2010 Folding Bike Champion and will receive a top of the range Dahon Speed P8 as their trophy.

Race Entry

To enter the 2010 folding bike race you must fill in the online form below and pay your £10 entry fee via our Paypal system. You will be redirected to our Paypal page when you submit this form.

 

Your race entry will give you access to the exclusive rider enclosure and you will be supplied with refreshments and a complimentary event programme.

 

Insurance

If you hold a British Cycling license you will be insured for the event. All riders will be required to pay for a day license to British Cycling if they are not insured (£5). Please note: this insurance is for third party cover and does not cover personal accident or injury.
