For the 2010 race we have designed an exciting new circuit in conjunction with Blackpool Council. The 900m route is right in the heart of the town with a spectacular start / finish area adjacent the famous Winter Gardens in St John Square.

 

 

The circuit will run through Birley Street taking the riders through the spectacular Brilliance Light Show (see image below) - the laser show and music will light up the action particularly in the darkness of the Elite Criterium.

 

 

The route is clockwise taking the riders up Church Street to a u-turn and fast descent down Church Street to Corporattion Street. The circuit then turns up Birley Street through a technical chicane that befoer a sprint to the line.

 

With close proximity to the cafes and restaurants in the town centre there will be plenty of food and entertainment to enhance the festival atmosphere.
