For the 2010 race we have designed an exciting new circuit in conjunction with Blackpool Council. The 1km route is right in the heart of the town with a spectacular start / finish area in front of the famous Winter Gardens.

 

 

The circuit will run down Birley Street taking the riders through the spectacular Brilliance Light Show (see image below) - the laser show and music will light up the action particularly in the darkness of the Elite Criterium.

 

 

The circuit then turns onto Church Street for a tough uphill drag to the finish line. At the top of the route the riders will need to navigate a sharp u-turn before dropping through a technical chicane that leads back onto Birley Street.

 

With close proximity to the cafes and restaurants in the town centre there will be plenty of food and entertainment to enhance the festival atmosphere.
