NOCTURNE SERIES 2010
The 2010 Nocturne Series returns to Edinburgh and Blackpool with the Smithfield Nocturne kicking things off on 19th June.
We are delighted to have teamed up with the London Festival of Architecture in 2010 with the Smithfield Nocturne taking place on the opening day of the festival.
The Edinburgh Nocturne will take place on the 3rd July coinciding with the Tour de France prologue. To create a packed day of cycling we will be showing the Tour live on big screens in the Grassmarket.
Blackpool takes place on the 7th August and we will be hoping to lure some Tour de France pros over for a post Tour criterium under the lights of the North Promenade.
LOCATIONS AND COURSES
Each Nocturne will be held on Saturday evening in some of the UK’s most exciting and iconic urban locations. Each course will be unique with different technical ratings and characteristics. The rider pit zone, giant viewing screens and podium finish area will enhance the F1 feel.
